Mustafa & Haya’s Elegant Wedding at
Halifax Tower Hotel

It was such a pleasure to be part of Mustafa and Haya’s beautiful wedding at Halifax Tower Hotel.

This celebration was especially meaningful to me because I have had the opportunity to decorate other weddings within Mustafa’s family. When his mom reached out to let me know there was another wedding to celebrate, it truly gladdened my heart.

There is something very special about a family remembering your work and trusting you again with another important celebration. We have been fortunate to welcome several returning families, and it is a feeling that never gets old.

For the reception, we wanted the design to feel soft, romantic and timeless. The layered draping, white backdrop, gold circular arch and beautiful fresh florals came together perfectly. I loved the colours and the way every element worked together to create such an elegant setting.

And then we received the photographs!

The images captured by Trevor Allen Photography honestly looked like something straight from Pinterest. In fact, I have had several people ask me if this photograph came from Pinterest. I was very happy to tell them, “No, that is our work!”

Trevor is truly the best of the best. He is incredibly talented, gracious and such a pleasure to work with. Having him photograph something we created was a dream. He captured not only the overall design, but also the beauty of every detail.
