This is a special one for me! Nafisa mentioned she has had a couple of people referred me to her when she asked about decorator as shes new to the city.
The interesting fact is she’s a colleague at the time of booking me! But she was such a chilled bride, in fact i think Nafisa is such a chilled person, and that is why i hunted her down for some content for my blog as i wanted her to be the first one I publish in new new site. Just the sweetest couple, you can see they were perfect match, and to top it up, Jonathan surprised her by playing a love song with the piano on their wedding day just for her. Invited to be a guest at her wedding I get to sit and enjoy the ambience and actually enjoyed the dance time so much! love her red gown second outfit change, she looks amazing!
How did you both meet?
My husband and I met at church in Saskatchewan province at the end of 2019, but it was on and off-causal check-ins. We did cut communication during the covid and he, however, relocated for work in Nova Scotia.
After graduating school and gaining enough work experience over the period, it was just time for me to relocate, so I started searching for job opportunities in other provinces. I just wanted a change of environment. Lo and behold, I got a job in my professional field in Nova Scotia.
What advice do you have for these planning to tie the knot?
To cut the long story short, we reconnected, and he proposed early this year. There and then, I knew God brought me here for a reason, and the reason is to find everlasting joy, peace and true love. When we shared the news with our families in our country of origin, everything was arranged for our wedding day in August 2023. To those seeking love, our advice is to remain prayerful and open, and love will find you when you’re ready.
What comment do you have for the decor design process and the decorator?
On my wedding day, it was an absolutely magical and beautiful experience thanks to my wedding decorator. Initially, as someone who is skeptical about meeting new people, especially for important events, I was unsure about trusting someone new. However, relocating to a new place and having a big event ahead made it necessary to seek help. Cathy Omolade proved to be an exceptional decorator who is hardworking, passionate, dedicated, professional, and talented. Her willingness to support her customers, active listening and communication skills, and love for her work make her an extraordinary planner. Cathy’s main goal is to ensure her clients are happy and that their day is special, and she does so by meeting with them regularly for consultations, providing many suggestions, and allowing them to make their own decisions on how they want their special day to look. She delivers professionally, and working with her is a breeze. Cathy even goes the extra mile by allowing flexibility regarding payment and tier-down after the event. I would highly recommend Cathy to anyone who has an upcoming event, including weddings, engagements, bridal/baby showers, meetings, community gathering events, and many more.
