How we met?
We met through my mom & her friend. They all work in shearwater together. While I was on deployment back in 2020 I would call my mom to say hi and every single time I would call she would mention this “cute little English guy” she wanted me to meet because she just loved him. I always told her no thanks, I’m not interested. This went on for about 6 months. Finally, I arrived home from deployment and a few days later I had nothing going on so I brought my mom a coffee while she was at work. She had mentioned that the “cute little English guy” was in the building and told me she wanted me to meet him. I said no, I couldn’t tell you how many times and finally I said fine, sure, go get him. She ran in the building to get him and I finally met him. His accent was the cutest thing I ever heard. We became friends, hung out like everyday and finally dated a few months later in September 2020. He proposed April 23rd 2022 and we got married September 2nd 2023! I guess moms know what’s best for their daughters, I married such a gentleman.
Advice
I would give it about a year to plan the wedding. There’s so many little details that I never even thought about. I would definitely keep everything written down, a planner/journal is your bff. Hire a professional decorator, you will not regret it. It relieves so much stress and looks so amazing.

I gave her my inspiration and she made it 100 times more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined. When I walked into my venue after it’s been decorated, I was honestly lost for words. She delivered. She made sure my wedding was everything I dreamed of and so much more. It was just so beautiful, she gave me my princess wedding. Cathy is a beautiful person inside & out and you will not regret having her design/decorate your wedding or any special event.
